In the premiers episode of Carmichael’s show, ‘Jerrod Carmichael Reality Show,’ he shared that he sent a text message to the rapper in 2021 where he admitted his feelings.

Tyler did not feel the same and Carmichael got a voice note back saying  he was a “stupid b**ch.” Carmichael tried to make a move once again but was rejected again. At the end of the episode, the pair sat down for a conversation.

“Getting news like that and then avoiding it is a way to avoid change. I didn’t think brushing that off and continuing regularly would be such a dent. I don’t know,” Tyler said.

Carmichael said a conversation could have been held between them.

The rapper also referred to Carmichael as “family” and the two have remained friends.
